Shopify Expert – Premium E-Commerce Store Build + Email Flows (Quiet Luxury Jewelry Brand)
We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Shopify Store Setup Expert to build and launch a premium, high-converting e-commerce storefront for our new jewelry brand, Edella, using a shopify paid theme. Our brand features timeless, high-quality, and durable pieces (18k gold-filled and sterling silver) with a dainty, elevated everyday aesthetic. The visual direction is elevated minimalism and quiet luxury (reminiscent of brands like Mejuri or Gorjana). We are currently having our launch collection of 50–75 pieces professionally photographed. You will be provided with a complete library of high-resolution, color-accurate flat-lays, group layering shots, and editorial model lookbook assets. Your job will be to design a clean, fast, and seamless user experience around these assets, once available, while fully setting up our core marketing tech stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Theme Selection & Customization: Help select and deeply customize a premium, high-performance Shopify theme (OS 2.0) that aligns perfectly with a minimalist, luxury aesthetic.
- Inventory & Product Upload: Efficiently upload and configure 50–75 products, including setting up variants (e.g., gold vs. silver), detailed descriptions, and sorting them into clean navigation collections.
- Social & Feed Integrations:
- Integrate a live Instagram & Facebook Feed section directly onto the homepage.
- Properly sync our Shopify product catalog with Meta Business Manager to enable automated Instagram/Facebook shopping tags and catalogs.
- Email Marketing & Automation (Klaviyo): Connect and fully set up our email marketing system. Design, copywrite, and launch essential automated marketing flows using our brand colors/fonts:
- Welcome Series Flow (for new subscribers/pop-up signups)
- Abandoned Cart / Abandoned Checkout Flow
- Customer Win-Back / Post-Purchase Flow
- Essential Pages Build: Set up standard, high-trust pages including Homepage, Story/About Us, Contact, FAQ, and custom Shipping & Returns/Care Instructions.
- Checkout & Logistics Configuration: Configure payment gateways (Shopify Payments, Apple Pay, PayPal), tax settings, and shipping rates/labels setup.
- Testing & Launch Readiness: Ensure the site is flawlessly mobile-optimized, fast-loading, and thoroughly tested for a smooth checkout process before launch.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven track record of building beautiful, high-converting Shopify stores, specifically for fashion, jewelry, or premium e-commerce brands (please provide links).
- Deep expertise in Klaviyo app setup, list segmenting, and visual email flow construction.
- Experience with Meta Business Manager, product feed syncing, and embedding social galleries.
- Deep understanding of UX/UI design principles focused on a clean, spacious, "quiet luxury" feel.
