About the Opportunity: The SOFTWARE ENGINEER I role involves full lifecycle software application development to support the organization's healthcare initiatives. This position contributes by developing, testing, and deploying software solutions, participating in Agile processes, and supporting production environments. The role also engages in research and development activities related to generative AI, enhancing the organization's technological capabilities and operational efficiency. Responsibilities: Participate in software application and business logic development. Engage in Agile/Scrum sessions and project planning. Conduct code reviews, write code and tests. Contribute to generative AI research and development. Assist with deployment, testing, and validation on QA environments. Support production deployment, validation, troubleshooting, and support. Monitor applications and automate processes. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field. Preferably one year of software development experience. Familiarity with generative AI technology preferred. Experience with Microsoft Azure platform tools preferred. Knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python. Understanding of databases, operating systems, and MS SQL. Experience with RESTful APIs, database programming, and UI programming. Ability to write maintainable code in C# and SQL. Willingness to learn new technologies quickly. Exposure to CSS, Powershell, JavaScript. Basic knowledge of machine learning and generative AI concepts. Experience with version control systems like GitHub and familiarity with CI/CD. Understanding of Agile methodologies is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in English. Pay Range and Compensation Package: Base salary range is $69,520 to $86,900, excluding fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Eligibility to participate in an annual corporate success sharing bonus based on organizational performance. Final compensation depends on skills, education, and experience.
