The Legacy Leagues is a unique low-rim basketball league in CT, RI and MA that not only allows its players to dunk, but also give them a full experience of playing in a professional league. The Legacy League provides its players full stats, video highlights and game recaps from every game, that can be found right on the website, as well as in-game interviews broadcasted live on our Facebook page.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Evening availability is required. Being available when Legacy League games are taking place is a must.
- Oversee league operations, being the main point of contact for Legacy League managers who are on site at our league's games.
- Trouble shoot any issues that arise, working with league managers to ensure a smooth and consistent operation
- Complete game night tasks on time, including checking live streams of games, posting interviews on social media, checking stats are uploaded properly to our website, and more.
- Ensure photos and videos are submitted online on time from people at the games
- Provide feedback for interns to continue improving league operations throughout the season and to contribute to a strong learning culture
- Communicate with interns through Slack weekly, confirming their attendance at our game nights and fill out weekly assignments document prior to game nights
- Ensure content is completed on-time and deadlines are met is a must
- Prior management experience is required
- Prior knowledge about sports and sports league operations is required
- This is a fully remote part-time position
- A stipend per season will be provided dependent on the number of hours per week that are required
