About brighthush

brighthush is a pioneering AI‑driven learning platform that is reshaping higher education across the United States. By converting classroom conversations into actionable data insights, we empower thousands of professors to ignite deeper student engagement, foster critical thinking, and deliver personalized learning experiences at scale. Our mission is simple yet ambitious: democratize high‑impact learning so that every educator can unlock the full potential of their students, and every student can thrive in a data‑rich, collaborative environment.

At brighthush, we believe that the most powerful stories come from the people who use our technology every day. That’s why we’re building a vibrant community of educator advocates who can share their successes, inspire peers, and help us grow our brand credibility. If you’re passionate about education, community building, and driving measurable impact, we want you to join our mission.

Why This Role Matters

The Strategic Customer Advocacy & Community Lead will be the catalyst that transforms our most enthusiastic educators into a scalable engine of growth. You will own the entire advocate lifecycle—from discovery and onboarding to activation and amplification—creating a program that fuels pipeline development, generates compelling proof points, and elevates brighthush’s reputation as the go‑to platform for academic excellence.

In this role, you will sit at the intersection of Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales, collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to design and execute programs that deepen customer engagement, amplify educator voices, and support revenue growth. Your work will directly influence how educators perceive brighthush, how prospects evaluate our solutions, and how we win new business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and Scale the Advocate Program – Design a comprehensive framework that identifies, nurtures, and celebrates our top educator advocates. From initial outreach to ongoing engagement, create processes that ensure advocates feel valued and empowered.
  • Activate Advocates Across Channels – Leverage case studies, testimonials, social media, webinars, and speaking opportunities to showcase advocate stories. Coordinate with Marketing to produce high‑quality content that resonates with prospects and peers.
  • Drive Referral and Partner Programs – Develop structured referral incentives and partnership models that encourage advocates to bring new prospects into the brighthush ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success – Work closely with Sales to identify high‑potential prospects and with Customer Success to surface success stories that can be turned into proof points.
  • Measure Impact and Iterate – Define KPIs (e.g., NPS, referral volume, content engagement) and use data to refine program tactics. Present insights to senior leadership to demonstrate ROI.
  • Champion Thought Leadership – Position brighthush educators as thought leaders through speaking engagements, whitepapers, and industry panels. Coordinate logistics and messaging to maximize reach.
  • Foster Community Culture – Create online forums, virtual meetups, and in‑person events that encourage peer learning, knowledge sharing, and a sense of belonging among advocates.
  • Advocate for Customer Voice – Act as the primary liaison between educators and product teams, ensuring that advocate feedback informs roadmap decisions.
  • Manage Budget and Resources – Allocate program budget efficiently, negotiate vendor contracts, and oversee external partners (e.g., event organizers, content creators).
  • Lead Cross‑Functional Projects – Drive initiatives that span Marketing, Sales, Product, and Customer Success, ensuring alignment and timely execution.
