Strategic Operations Lead

๐ŸŒ Remote ยท United States ๐Ÿ’ผ Full-time

Frontline Source Group is recruiting a remote, US-based Strategic Operations Lead for an AI-enabled revenue cycle management (RCM) company serving emergency medicine groups, independent freestanding emergency departments (FSEDs), and specialty physician practices, with deep expertise in No Surprises Act Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) claims. The role is the operations voice inside an in-house engineering team, reporting jointly to the VP of Operations and the COO, with a direct path to VP of Operations. Responsibilities: sit with billers, coders, and IDR specialists to find where volume, time, and margin are lost and rank opportunities by ROI; turn floor-level problems into buildable specs and prioritize the backlog with engineering leadership; run daily working sessions between operators and developers; bring live performance data to build decisions; pressure-test releases for edge cases and compliance exposure; own rollout, training, change management, and adoption of automation; protect accuracy, recovery rate, and compliance as throughput rises; instrument throughput per specialist, touches per claim, cost per claim, on-time filing rate, win rate, and days to payment, reporting weekly to leadership. Twelve-month goals: IDR workflow automated end to end, automations adopted in production, and every IDR specialist sustaining a minimum of 40 claims per day with no degradation in win rate or filing accuracy. Must-haves: 4 plus years in strategy consulting (MBB, Big Four, or tier-two strategy firms) or high-velocity strategy and operations roles at highly operational businesses; proven ability to drive ambiguous problems to measurable outcomes; strong analytical toolkit with large claims, payment, and denial datasets; experience working with operators, engineers, and senior leadership; product-minded SaaS operator background. Strongly preferred: direct IDR, arbitration, or out-of-network claims experience; RCM, medical billing, coding, or payer operations background, especially emergency medicine or freestanding EDs; track record deploying AI or automation into live operations; familiarity with Retool or similar low-code platforms. Compensation: competitive base salary and annual performance bonus. Benefits: flexible time off with at least 3 weeks of vacation expected, comprehensive health and dental coverage, 401(k) with employer contribution. Location: remote, US-based, with regular travel to the operations center in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
