Strategic Project Lead
We are sharing a specialised full-time remote opportunity for an experienced Strategic Project Lead with strong expertise in finance, complex project execution, data operations, cross-functional leadership, and stakeholder management to oversee sophisticated finance-focused AI data and evaluation initiatives. The selected professional will take end-to-end ownership of strategic projects involving financial domain expertise, human data operations, and advanced AI workflows. The role combines finance knowledge with operational leadership, project planning, client engagement, and scalable data pipeline development to translate complex requirements into high-quality deliverables. The successful candidate will coordinate finance specialists, technical stakeholders, and operations teams to drive efficient execution and continuous process improvement. Key Responsibilities - Strategic Project Ownership & Execution - Own finance-focused projects from initial scoping and pipeline design through execution and final delivery. - Translate complex client requirements into clear project objectives, technical specifications, and actionable plans. - Define milestones, operational priorities, and delivery expectations across assigned initiatives. - Maintain a consistent execution cadence and ensure progress against agreed project requirements. - Identify operational bottlenecks and coordinate timely solutions to support project delivery. - Finance Data Pipeline Design & Optimisation - Design and improve finance-focused data pipelines supporting AI training and evaluation workflows. - Establish processes that promote data accuracy, operational efficiency, and consistent output quality. - Translate specialised finance requirements into structured data collection, review, and validation activities. - Identify opportunities to improve pipeline scalability, usability, and reliability. - Collaborate with technical and operational stakeholders to refine data processing and quality assurance procedures. - Finance Domain Expert & Team Leadership - Coordinate finance domain experts, project leads, and operations professionals across assigned workstreams. - Align specialist expertise with project requirements, evaluation criteria, and delivery milestones. - Provide clear direction on priorities, responsibilities, and expected deliverables. - Monitor the quality and consistency of work produced by finance-focused teams. - Support effective collaboration between domain specialists, technical teams, and operational stakeholders. - Client Communication & Stakeholder Management - Serve as a key point of coordination for client requirements, project progress, and delivery expectations. - Translate evolving stakeholder needs into practical implementation plans and operational workflows. - Communicate project milestones, dependencies, and performance updates clearly. - Collaborate with senior finance professionals and multidisciplinary teams to resolve complex project requirements. - Maintain professional, direct, and consistent communication throughout project execution. - Operational Reporting & Continuous Improvement - Prepare regular internal updates covering progress, outstanding issues, and defined next steps. - Track operational performance against project milestones and quality requirements. - Identify opportunities to improve team coordination, workflow efficiency, and delivery consistency. - Develop practical recommendations to strengthen finance data operations and project execution. - Apply strong analytical judgement and operational ownership to improve project outcomes. Ideal Profile - Strong professional background in Finance, Financial Engineering, Economics, Accounting, or a closely related discipline. - At least 2 years of experience leading complex projects
