Position Overview

As the Strategic Senior Manager – Customer Curriculum Solutions & B2B Learning Experience Design Lead, you will be the linchpin between our B2B customers and the creative teams that build our learning products. You’ll partner with accounting firms, corporate finance teams, and other professional groups to understand their unique learning needs, translate those needs into high‑impact curriculum, and ensure every new offering meets the highest standards of quality, relevance, and compliance.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the design and development of custom training programs that blend on‑demand, live, virtual, and hybrid formats.
  • Translate customer content into engaging, standards‑aligned curriculum.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and product teams to bring concepts to life.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle, from discovery to launch.
  • Build and mentor a high‑performing team as the portfolio of new offerings expands.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Development & Customer Content Adaptation

  • Partner with B2B customers to co‑create custom training programs that fit their learning objectives, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Design learning objectives, course structures, content modules, and assessment strategies that align with professional standards and CPE requirements.
  • Ensure all content is technically accurate, up‑to‑date, and compliant with industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with authors, subject matter experts, and instructional designers to refine and iterate content.
  • Maintain a consistent learner experience across both customer‑adapted and internally developed courses.
  • Leverage learning analytics to continuously improve course effectiveness and learner satisfaction.
  • Document best practices and create reusable templates that accelerate future curriculum projects.

Customer Discovery & Sales Support

  • Lead discovery calls to uncover training gaps, performance metrics, and strategic goals.
  • Collect detailed engagement data—audience profiles, timelines, success KPIs—to inform scope and pricing.
  • Join sales meetings as a subject matter expert, articulating the value of new offerings and addressing technical questions.
  • Identify emerging training opportunities based on market trends, customer feedback, and industry developments.
  • Develop compelling proposals and ROI analyses that resonate with enterprise decision makers.
  • Provide post‑sale support to ensure seamless implementation and adoption.

Product Requirements & Testing

  • Translate curriculum and content needs into clear product requirements (PRDs, user stories) for engineering and product teams.
  • Act as the customer advocate during development, clarifying requirements and ensuring alignment.
  • Lead user acceptance testing, content reviews, and pilot programs to validate that new offerings meet both customer and internal standards.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional release plans and post‑launch support.
  • Maintain a backlog of improvement items and prioritize based on impact and feasibility.

Leadership & Team Building

  • Forge strong relationships across Curriculum, Product, Engineering, and Sales to keep projects on track.
  • Shape and refine processes for customer content adaptation and curriculum development.
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage direct reports as the team grows, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
  • Champion professional development for team members, ensuring they stay current with instructional design trends and industry standards.
  • Encourage knowledge sharing through internal workshops, lunch‑and‑learn sessions, and cross‑team collaborations.

Essential Qualifications

  • Active CPA license.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of professional accounting experience, with a deep understanding of how accounting professionals learn and work.
  • Proven track record of leading client‑facing conversations and translating customer needs into actionable, high‑quality recommendations.
  • Exceptional written communication skills—capable of producing structured documentation for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
  • Experience mentoring, leading, or managing others, formally or informally.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
