Subject Matter Expert – Level III

Vista Innovative Solutions (VIS) is a Government Consulting and Contracting firm supporting missions throughout the world. VIS is seeking a Subject Matter Expert – Level III to support Technical Assessments for Joint Warfighter Medical Modernization, Integration, and Performance Optimization (Phase 1). This is a remote position supporting CONUS operations.

What You’ll Do

• Support JHS Enterprise Assessment: Help Booz Allen assess existing DoD organizations, capabilities, processes, and stakeholder roles relevant to non-traumatic medical conditions.

• Assess JTS Model for JHS Applicability: Help Booz Allen identify relevant JTS practices, capabilities, governance mechanisms, and lessons learned and assess their applicability to JHS.

• Identify Enterprise Gaps and Opportunities: Help Booz Allen identify gaps, overlaps, dependencies, and opportunities for improved coordination and integration across the DoD enterprise.

• Support JHS Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and Operating Model Development: Help Booz Allen develop and evaluate JHS CONOPS and operating model courses of action, including governance, organizational structures, roles and responsibilities, decision authorities, stakeholder relationships, and key operational processes.

• Support Stakeholder Engagements: Participate in interviews, working groups, and discussions with military, clinical, and healthcare stakeholders to gather information and validate findings.

• Review JHS Recommendations and Deliverables: Provide clinical and military health expertise to help Booz Allen review and refine JHS findings, recommendations, briefings, and deliverables.

What You Bring

Required:

• Military Health and Trauma Systems Expertise: Extensive knowledge of the Joint Trauma System, military medicine, trauma systems operations, and delivery of care across operational and garrison environments.

• Strategic Planning: Experience supporting organizations in developing long-term operational strategies. Expertise in aligning organizational goals with actionable plans and measurable outcomes.

• Senior Stakeholder Engagement: Experience engaging military, clinical, and healthcare leaders and providing expert input through interviews, working groups, technical reviews, and senior-level discussion.

• DoD Public Trust required.

Preferred:

• Secret clearance.

• Medical Doctor.
