System Engineer

An established aerospace engineering organisation is looking for a senior systems engineer to join the team. This role focuses on mission integration and operational planning for complex space flight programmes. The successful candidate will lead technical coordination between multiple stakeholders to ensure operational readiness throughout the mission lifecycle. What you'll be doing Leading the development and implementation of mission operations products, including Concepts of Operations and console procedures. Coordinating mission operations integration across internal engineering organisations and commercial partners. Managing console planning activities, including staffing, communication protocols, and multi-site operations integration. Overseeing operational readiness plans, training integration, and certification activities for mission personnel. Facilitating technical issue resolution and anomaly response activities during dynamic mission operations and rehearsals. What we're looking for Extensive experience in systems engineering with a focus on mission operations or flight integration. Proven ability to lead technical working groups and facilitate coordination between diverse engineering teams. Strong expertise in developing operational documentation and managing readiness review processes. Experience managing operational change requests and technical action items within a complex regulatory environment. Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain the required security clearance for this role.
