Role Description The Technical Drafter will support interior design projects by producing precise technical drawings and documentation for hospitality, multifamily, and commercial environments. This contract, remote role involves translating design concepts into detailed plans, elevations, sections, and construction documents that meet project specifications and industry standards. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting design briefs, collaborating with designers on layouts and building details, and updating drawings based on feedback and revisions. The Technical Drafter will also coordinate digital files, maintain drawing consistency across projects, and ensure technical accuracy and clarity for consultants and contractors. Occasional virtual meetings and cross-functional collaboration will be required to align drawings with design intent, budgets, and timelines. Qualifications 5–8+ years of professional experience Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design Strong knowledge of all phases of design and documentation Detailed understanding of building systems, construction assemblies, and technical detailing Experience coordinating across multiple internal teams and with architects, engineers, contractors, and outside consultants Experience in multifamily, hospitality, and/or commercial interiors preferred Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects Motivated self-starter interested in growing with our firm Strong proficiency in Revit, BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Forma Please note: This is a Revit-based technical production role and is not an AutoCAD drafting position.
