Technical Product Manager (Data & AI) – Remote 💼 Direct Hire 📍 Remote (Quarterly travel to NJ for team meetings/events) Our client is seeking a Technical Product Manager (Data & AI) to sit at the intersection of Product, Data Science, Engineering, and Customer Success. This is a highly visible role where you'll partner directly with customers and internal teams to develop AI-powered products, predictive analytics capabilities, and data-driven SaaS solutions that deliver measurable business value. This opportunity is ideal for someone who wants to move beyond internal tools and help build customer-facing AI/ML products used by thousands of users.
What You'll Do
Shape the AI & Data Strategy Own the roadmap for AI/ML-powered products, predictive models, and advanced analytics features. Partner with customers to identify business challenges and co-develop innovative data-driven solutions. Work closely with Data Science, Engineering, UX, and Leadership teams to define product vision and strategy. Transform complex analytical concepts into intuitive customer experiences and compelling product demonstrations. Execute & Deliver Translate customer needs into technical requirements, data specifications, and product features. Collaborate with Engineering and Data Science teams throughout the product lifecycle. Validate product hypotheses using data and analytics before development begins. Drive successful feature launches and work cross-functionally with Product Marketing and Sales to maximize adoption, retention, and revenue growth. Define KPIs and measure business impact of AI and analytics initiatives. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in Product Management, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or related fields. Experience working with AI/ML products, predictive analytics, or data-driven software solutions. Strong SQL skills with the ability to independently analyze and explore data. Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Sigma, Tableau, Looker, or similar. Familiarity with Python or R for lightweight analysis. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both executive stakeholders and technical teams. Experience translating complex business problems into scalable product solutions. Preferred Experience SaaS product management experience. Exposure to the machine learning lifecycle and productionized ML models. Experience with modern data platforms including: Snowflake DBT Fivetran Sigma Experience in Field Service, Logistics, Routing, Dispatch, Building Services, or other operationally complex B2B industries. Background building customer-facing AI, analytics, or data products.
