Therapist
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Therapist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to individuals across various demographics, including geriatrics and children. The Therapist will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to promote mental wellness and recovery. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide behavioral therapy, including art therapy and child family counseling, tailored to the needs of each patient. Perform diagnostic evaluations to identify mental health disorders and recommend appropriate interventions. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive case management for inpatient and outpatient clients. Facilitate group therapy sessions and provide crisis intervention as needed. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Valid state licensure as a therapist or counselor is required. Experience in geriatrics, child family counseling, or inpatient settings is preferred. Proficient in patient assessment techniques and case management practices. Strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities including behavioral therapy and art therapy. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations. Commitment to providing empathetic care and maintaining confidentiality in all interactions.
