UKG QA Engineer

Job Title: UKG QA Engineer/ Analyst Location: Remote; Travel Required to Washington, DC (Onsite once per quarter) Time Zone: EST or CST Candidates only. Engagement: 12 Months Contract Position Overview We are looking for an experienced UKG QA Professional to support Amtrak. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with UKG ProWFM, particularly Timekeeper, Accrual, and Activities, along with expertise in quality assurance, business analysis, and software testing. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of testing methodologies, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams. Candidate Requirements Minimum 10+ years of overall professional experience. Candidates must be based in the EST or CST time zones. Strong communication and client-facing skills are essential. Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of experience with UKG ProWFM, particularly Timekeeper, Accrual, and Activities. 5+ years of experience working with JIRA. Strong experience in Quality Assurance, Business Analysis, and software testing. Hands-on experience developing test plans, test cases, and conducting regression testing. Experience creating and maintaining Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM). Strong understanding of process mapping, workflows, requirements gathering, and fit-gap analysis. Experience testing integrations involving systems such as SAP and Maximo. Knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar tools. Proficiency in MS Office applications, including SharePoint, Excel, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

CBAP certification and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience with UKG ProWFM, Telestaff, or Workforce Central.
