US-Based Newsletter Writer for Mid-Sized Business Owners
We are an operator-led financial services firm working with established, owner-led companies ($5M to $75M in revenue). We are launching a newsletter for these business owners on capital strategy: dividend recaps, partner buyouts, ESOPs, M&A financing, and how private credit, banks and SBA lenders compare. It will also cover building a finance back office that lenders and buyers trust. How We Differentiate The newsletter is written from the seat of people who have underwritten, raised and closed these deals, not from a consultant's playbook. It will be built on real deal lessons and case studies, not generic CFO tips. You will work closely with the founder, who brings the deal experience and point of view.
Requirements
- US-based
- Proven track record writing newsletters for business owner audiences, ideally owners of mid-sized companies
- Experience writing about high-ticket, sophisticated services such as finance, M&A, private equity, wealth management, legal or similar fields (finance or M&A experience is a strong plus)
- Ability to make complex topics clear and engaging for owners without dumbing them down
- A background mainly in software, SaaS, tech or fintech content is not the right fit
