UX Writer - Remote
About the Role
Aquent is seeking a UX Writer for a 12-month contract supporting a leading technology company's advertising platforms. This role focuses on creating clear, consistent, and user-centered language for digital advertising interfaces. You will collaborate with designers, engineers, and product teams to improve user journeys, establish content standards, and deliver intuitive experiences for a global audience.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with designers to solve UI/UX writing challenges and maintain consistent messaging across platforms. Partner with product teams to provide content feedback and identify opportunities to improve user experiences. Own and maintain the copy deck, streamline content review processes, and coordinate smooth handoffs to engineering. Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system with clear content guidelines for different use cases. Advocate for consistent language, tone, and terminology during design reviews and product meetings. Participate in quality assurance by reviewing interface copy, identifying content issues, and reporting necessary bug fixes. Understand customer goals, business requirements, and technical constraints when developing product content. Write and refine interface content that supports users throughout their journeys, including error messages and success states. Incorporate stakeholder feedback while maintaining content quality and consistency. Manage competing priorities and multiple projects while meeting deadlines and established requirements.
Required Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience writing for advertising and/or monetization platforms. Strong interest in creating user-focused product experiences. Ability to evaluate complete user journeys, including error states and success criteria. Ability to balance creative storytelling with structured, detail-oriented writing. Experience working with wireframes and functional specifications. Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to explore multiple content solutions. Strong communication skills, including presenting ideas clearly and incorporating feedback. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work effectively. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to content quality. Experience contributing to and implementing style guides and shared content patterns. Salary & Benefits The target compensation range is $90–$95.56 per hour. Final compensation may vary based on education, relevant work experience, certifications, and location.
