Role Description The Vice President Finance (part-time, remote) will oversee the financial strategy, planning, and performance management for Emirates Talent Connect. This role includes leading the preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial statements and reports to senior leadership, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency. The VP Finance will manage budgeting and forecasting processes, monitor cash flow and profitability, and provide data-driven insights to support strategic decisions and long-term growth. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve strengthening financial controls, optimizing resource allocation, collaborating with cross-functional teams on financial implications of business initiatives, and advising on risk management and investment opportunities. The role requires proactive communication with leadership and stakeholders to align financial objectives with organizational goals.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Finance expertise, including experience in corporate finance, budgeting, and strategic financial management. Candidates should possess skills in Financial Planning and forecasting to support long-term business growth and resource optimization. Candidates should possess experience with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret complex data, identify trends, and propose actionable recommendations. Extensive experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally at the VP or Director level, within a scaling or platform-based business. Strong knowledge of accounting standards, compliance requirements, and best practices in financial governance. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present financial insights to non-financial audiences. Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) are an advantage. Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
