Vice President of Business Development
Role Description The Vice President of Business Development at PROYECTOS INTEGRALES APIPROO is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading growth initiatives and expanding strategic relationships. This position oversees the identification and evaluation of new market opportunities, develops and executes business development plans, and guides the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing. Day-to-day activities include building and maintaining key client and partner relationships, leading contract negotiations, coordinating with internal teams to align offerings with client needs, and monitoring performance against growth targets. The role also involves setting business development priorities, mentoring team members, and providing regular reporting and insights to senior leadership to support data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in New Business Development and Sales, including prospecting, pipeline management, and closing complex deals. Strong Business Planning and strategic thinking skills, with experience in market analysis, growth strategy, and forecasting. Proficiency in Contract Negotiation, with a track record of structuring agreements that balance client satisfaction and organizational goals. Experience in Account Management, including nurturing long-term relationships, managing key accounts, and ensuring high levels of client retention. Proven leadership experience, including managing and developing business development or sales teams in a remote or distributed environment. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, comfortable working with data, KPIs, and CRM systems to drive performance. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus. Experience in relevant industries or project-based service organizations is highly desirable.
