Vice President of Corporate Business

Role Description The Vice President of Corporate Business is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading SEW’s corporate growth strategy across civil and electrical contracting services. This position oversees business development with key banking and corporate clients, identifies new market opportunities, and drives long-term partnerships and revenue expansion. The role includes directing financial and business analysis to support strategic decision-making, collaborating with project teams to align service offerings with client needs, and ensuring that proposals, bids, and contracts are commercially sound and competitive. The Vice President will work closely with senior leadership to shape corporate policies, manage performance metrics, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, while representing SEW in high-level negotiations and industry forums.

Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess market trends, and support strategic planning. Candidates should possess Finance and Business Analysis skills to evaluate commercial viability, manage budgets, and optimize profitability. Candidates should possess Project Management skills to coordinate complex civil and electrical initiatives and ensure timely, quality delivery. Candidates should possess Sales skills to lead corporate business development, negotiate contracts, and maintain client relationships. Proven experience in senior leadership roles within construction, engineering, or related industries. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation abilities. Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is an asset.
