Role Description The Vice President of Finance and Operations at Belfius Private is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing financial strategy and operational performance across the organization. This position leads the development and execution of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts, while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies. The role includes managing financial statement preparation, monitoring key performance indicators, and providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. The Vice President will collaborate with senior leadership to optimize operational processes, improve efficiency, and align resources with business objectives. Day-to-day activities involve directing finance and operations teams, refining internal controls, evaluating business initiatives, and presenting financial and operational updates to executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Finance with demonstrated experience in Financial Planning and Financial Reporting Proficiency in preparing, analyzing, and interpreting Financial Statements Advanced Analytical Skills to assess performance, identify trends, and support strategic decisions Proven leadership experience managing finance and operations teams in a complex organization Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Knowledge of regulatory requirements, risk management, and internal control frameworks Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate across distributed teams
