Vice President of Financial Planning Analysis
Role Description The Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) at Fundação Ageas is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the organization’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. This role oversees the FP&A function, guiding the development of long-term financial models, annual budgets, and periodic forecasts, while ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. The VP FP&A will analyze financial and operational data, prepare executive-ready presentations, and provide insights to support decision-making by senior leadership and the board. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing financial statements and reports, monitoring key performance indicators, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending actions to improve financial performance. The role also collaborates with cross-functional teams, strengthens financial reporting processes, and implements tools and best practices to enhance data quality, transparency, and efficiency.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Financial Planning and Finance, with a proven ability to lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling. Advanced Analytical Skills and experience interpreting Financial Statements to drive strategic recommendations and performance improvements. Proficiency in Financial Reporting, including developing, reviewing, and presenting reports and dashboards for executive and board audiences. Extensive experience in senior FP&A or finance leadership roles, ideally within complex or mission-driven organizations. Ability to communicate complex financial concepts in a clear, concise manner to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. Comfort working in a remote environment, with strong collaboration, time management, and stakeholder engagement skills. Advanced user of financial planning tools and spreadsheets; familiarity with BI and data visualization tools is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; a relevant graduate degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, MBA) is an advantage.
