Vice President of Financial Product Quality Management
Role Description The Vice President of Financial Product Quality Management at SUN Jewelry is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing the quality, performance, and compliance of the company’s financial product portfolio. This role leads the development and implementation of quality standards, metrics, and controls for financial products, ensuring alignment with business strategy, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product, finance, risk, and operations teams to assess product performance, identify quality issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The vice president will direct cross-functional projects, review data and reports to monitor product quality, provide guidance on remediation plans, and present findings and recommendations to executive leadership. This role also includes mentoring team members, setting priorities, and establishing best practices for financial product quality management across the organization.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Product Strategy and Product Management skills to guide the financial product portfolio and ensure quality standards are integrated into product lifecycle decisions. Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to evaluate product performance data, identify trends, and support data-driven quality improvement and risk mitigation. Candidates should possess proven Team Leadership experience to manage and develop high-performing teams and foster collaboration across departments. Candidates should possess solid Project Management skills to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and deliver quality-focused outcomes on time and within scope. Extensive experience in financial services, fintech, or related industries, with a focus on product quality, risk management, or compliance. Strong knowledge of regulatory and industry standards related to financial products and customer protection. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or similar) or relevant professional certifications is beneficial. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment, with strong organizational skills and self-management.
