Role Description The Vice-President of Global Operational Excellence is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for driving performance improvements across ELIA GROUP’s global operations. This role oversees the development and implementation of operational excellence frameworks, standards, and best practices that support consistent, high-quality delivery of environmental and sustainability consulting services. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing operational data, identifying efficiency and quality improvement opportunities, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives that optimize processes, resource allocation, and service delivery. The Vice-President will partner with regional and functional leaders to harmonize operating models, strengthen governance, and embed continuous improvement culture across manufacturing-related and service operations. The role also includes mentoring leaders, establishing KPIs, managing transformation projects, and ensuring that operational strategies are aligned with ELIA GROUP’s sustainability mission and client expectations.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong expertise in Manufacturing Operations and Manufacturing Operations Management to improve performance across production-related and service processes. Candidates should possess proven skills in Operational Excellence and Operations Management to design and execute continuous improvement frameworks and scalable operating models. Candidates should possess solid experience in Supply Chain Management to optimize end-to-end flows, reduce risk, and support sustainable sourcing and logistics. Extensive leadership experience in global operations or consulting environments, with a track record of delivering measurable performance and quality improvements. Experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies; related certifications are an asset. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making abilities, with proficiency in using KPIs and dashboards to guide strategy. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, including experience leading cross-cultural, remote teams. Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred; experience in sustainability or environmental sectors is highly beneficial.
