Role Description The Vice President of Global Operations is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing and optimizing organizational operations across multiple regions and functional areas. This role leads the design and execution of operational strategies, ensuring alignment with the school’s mission and long-term objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing cross-functional projects, monitoring performance metrics, improving processes, and coordinating supply chain and resource allocation activities to support educational programs and services. The Vice President of Global Operations collaborates with senior leadership, administrative teams, and external partners to drive operational excellence, manage risk, and support scalable, efficient growth. This position also leads continuous improvement initiatives, develops best practices, and provides guidance to teams on standards, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Strong Operations Management and Operational Excellence skills, with experience designing and improving processes, workflows, and organizational systems. Proficiency in Supply Chain Management, including resource planning, vendor coordination, and logistics to support multi-site or global operations. Demonstrated ability in Strategic Planning, with a track record of setting objectives, defining roadmaps, and aligning operations with organizational goals. Advanced Project Management skills, including leading complex initiatives, managing timelines and budgets, and coordinating cross-functional teams. Proven leadership experience in an operations or similar executive role, preferably within education, public sector, or mission-driven organizations. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with competence in using data and metrics for performance management. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment and across diverse stakeholders and cultures. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA or similar) is beneficial. Familiarity with compliance, risk management, and quality assurance frameworks relevant to educational or institutional operations. Comfort with digital tools and platforms used for remote collaboration, reporting, and operational oversight.
