Role Description The Vice President of Investment is a full-time remote role responsible for leading and managing the company’s investment activities and portfolio strategy. This position oversees the evaluation and execution of real estate and related investments, including sourcing opportunities, conducting financial analysis, and presenting recommendations to senior leadership. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising due diligence processes, reviewing market research, assessing risk and return profiles, and ensuring that investment strategies align with corporate objectives. The role collaborates closely with internal teams and external partners, negotiates transaction terms, and monitors portfolio performance to optimize value. The Vice President of Investment is expected to provide strategic insight, mentor team members, and contribute to long-term planning and capital allocation decisions.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Investment Management and Investments, with a track record of leading complex deals and managing diversified portfolios. Strong Finance skills, including financial modeling, valuation, and analysis of cash flows and returns. Proficiency in Due Diligence processes, including risk assessment, legal and financial review, and market analysis. Ability to design and implement effective Investment Strategies that support organizational growth and risk management. Significant experience in real estate or related sectors, preferably in leadership or executive-level roles. Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build partnerships and influence stakeholders remotely. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) or professional certification (e.g., CFA) is an advantage. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and lead cross-functional teams across locations.
