Role Description The Vice President of Marketing and Business Development is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the company’s marketing strategy and growth initiatives. This position oversees the development and implementation of market and brand strategies that support corporate objectives in the energy and gas transport sector. Day-to-day tasks include directing market analysis and planning, identifying new business opportunities, and building partnerships with key stakeholders and industry organizations. The role manages marketing campaigns, public relations activities, and external communications to strengthen the company’s market presence and reputation. The Vice President collaborates closely with executive leadership, commercial teams, and technical departments to align marketing and business development plans with operational capabilities and regulatory requirements, while mentoring and guiding a distributed team.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Market Planning and Market Research, with the ability to analyze industry trends and translate insights into actionable strategies. Strong background in Marketing Management and Marketing, including leadership of integrated campaigns and brand positioning in B2B or industrial sectors. Proficiency in Public Relations, stakeholder engagement, and corporate communications to enhance the organization’s visibility and reputation. Proven track record in business development, strategic partnerships, and growth initiatives within energy, utilities, infrastructure, or related industries. Experience leading cross-functional teams, managing remote staff, and driving results through clear objectives and performance metrics. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work effectively in a regulated and safety-focused environment. Advanced degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience in senior leadership roles will be considered. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language capabilities are a plus depending on market needs.
