This position requires an executive who understands how operational decisions influence profitability, project delivery, resource utilization, and long-term financial stability. The Vice President will work closely with senior leadership to improve business processes, establish performance standards, and ensure that operational investments deliver measurable value. The successful candidate will bring a strong background in business operations, financial management, and organizational leadership, with the ability to oversee complex initiatives and coordinate teams across multiple functions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead operational strategy and develop execution plans aligned with corporate objectives and financial priorities. Oversee operating budgets, cost structures, resource allocation, and financial performance across assigned business functions. Collaborate with Finance to evaluate cash flow requirements, profitability, operating margins, and budget variances. Improve operational processes, project delivery standards, productivity, and organizational efficiency. Evaluate capital expenditures, technology investments, and operational improvement initiatives through financial analysis. Coordinate with Engineering, Finance, Business Development, and Operations to ensure effective project execution. Review vendor relationships, procurement costs, commercial agreements, and operational risks. Establish performance indicators and management reporting systems to monitor business results. Lead and mentor operational managers while strengthening accountability and cross-functional collaboration. Provide executive leadership with operational reviews, financial assessments, and recommendations for business improvement. Qualifications15+ years of progressive experience in operations management, executive leadership, engineering operations, or related business functions. At least 7 years of senior management experience overseeing complex operations and financial performance. Strong knowledge of corporate finance, budgeting, cost management, financial forecasting, and profitability analysis. Experience managing operational improvement programs, resource planning, and cross-functional teams. Understanding of project economics, capital expenditure planning, vendor management, and financial risk assessment. Demonstrated ability to improve operational efficiency and translate strategic priorities into measurable results. Strong executive communication, analytical judgment, negotiation, and organizational leadership skills. Experience within technology, engineering, industrial services, or project-based organizations is preferred. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline required. An MBA or relevant advanced qualification is preferred.
