Role Description The Vice President of Operations is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities across the company’s energy delivery functions. This role leads operations teams, sets performance targets, and ensures safe, reliable, and efficient service delivery aligned with regulatory standards and corporate objectives. The Vice President of Operations will manage budgets, monitor P&L performance, and allocate resources to optimize productivity and operational resilience. This position collaborates with senior leadership on strategic planning, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and supports large-scale projects from concept through execution. The role also ensures a strong customer service focus, fostering cross-functional coordination to quickly resolve issues, enhance customer experience, and maintain service quality.
Qualifications
Strong operations leadership skills, including Operations Management and oversight of complex, multi-site functions. Demonstrated experience in P&L Management and financial accountability for large operational budgets. Customer-focused mindset with proven capability in Customer Service within a regulated or service-driven industry. Expertise in Strategic Planning, with a track record of translating long-term objectives into actionable operational plans. Advanced Project Management skills, including leading cross-functional initiatives and managing timelines, risks, and resources. Experience in the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sector is strongly preferred. Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making abilities, with strength in influencing and stakeholder management. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; advanced degree (MBA or similar) is a plus. Demonstrated success leading remote or distributed teams and using digital tools for collaboration and reporting.
