Vice President of Product Operations

Role Description The Vice President of Product Operations is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading and optimizing end-to-end product operations across the organization. This role oversees the development and implementation of operational frameworks, processes, and tools that support product strategy, delivery, and lifecycle management. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product, engineering, marketing, and customer-facing teams to streamline workflows, improve cross-functional alignment, and ensure timely, high-quality product releases. The Vice President of Product Operations will define and monitor key performance metrics, lead operational reviews, manage risks and dependencies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role also mentors and manages a team, builds scalable governance structures, and ensures effective communication and documentation of product priorities and roadmaps.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Product Operations, with a demonstrated ability to design and scale processes that support product strategy and execution. Proficiency in Program Management and Project Management to oversee complex, cross-functional initiatives and deliver outcomes on time and within scope. Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, define KPIs, generate insights, and support data-informed decision-making across product portfolios. Experience in Product Management, including roadmap development, prioritization, stakeholder alignment, and understanding of the full product lifecycle. Proven leadership experience managing teams, fostering collaboration, and influencing senior stakeholders in a remote, distributed environment. Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable guidance for diverse audiences. Background in technology or SaaS environments and familiarity with agile methodologies and product development best practices.
