Vice President of Project Management

Role Description The Vice President of Project Management is a full-time remote role responsible for leading strategic projects across ShiftLink Logistics’ service lines. This position oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of complex initiatives that improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and profitability. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing project and program management teams, defining project scopes and timelines, managing budgets, and monitoring performance against key metrics. The role collaborates with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize projects, mitigate risks, and ensure alignment with company objectives. The Vice President also establishes project management standards, drives continuous improvement, and mentors team members to build organizational project management capabilities.

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in Project Management and Project Planning, with a track record of delivering large, cross-functional initiatives. Strong Program Management experience, including managing multiple concurrent projects and portfolios. Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support evidence-based decision-making. Proficiency in Budgeting, financial oversight, and resource allocation for complex projects. Experience in logistics, supply chain, or related industries is highly beneficial. Proven leadership skills, including coaching, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, PMI frameworks, project management software). Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) are a plus.
