Vice President of Retail Operations

Role Description The Vice President of Retail Operations is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing the performance, efficiency, and growth of retail operations across the Middle East. This position will manage end-to-end retail processes, including store performance, customer experience, merchandising standards, and alignment with strategic business objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting operational KPIs, monitoring sales and financial metrics, optimizing P&L, and coordinating with cross-functional teams such as marketing, finance, and HR. The role also involves developing and implementing retail strategies, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance with regional regulations and internal policies. The Vice President will mentor and lead retail managers, foster a high-performance culture, and provide executive-level reporting and insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Retail operations with a track record of managing multi-location or regional retail networks. Demonstrated ability in P&L Management and Finance, including budgeting, cost optimization, and revenue growth. Proven experience in Strategic Planning and Sales, with the ability to translate strategy into executable operational plans. Experience working in or with Middle East markets, with knowledge of regional business practices and customer behaviors. Excellent leadership, team management, and stakeholder communication skills, including remote team oversight. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making and performance reporting. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Retail Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is an advantage. Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment, manage competing priorities, and collaborate across time zones.
