Vice President of Strategic Foresight
Role Description The Vice President of Strategic Foresight at Carrier Maroc is a full-time, remote role responsible for shaping long-term vision, identifying emerging trends, and guiding strategic decision-making across the organization. This role leads the development of foresight models, scenario planning, and market intelligence frameworks to anticipate industry shifts and inform corporate strategy. The VP collaborates with executive leadership to translate insights into actionable initiatives, aligning innovation, investments, and business development with future opportunities and risks. Daily activities include overseeing strategic research, facilitating cross-functional workshops, preparing executive briefings, and establishing metrics to track the impact of foresight-driven initiatives. The role also involves mentoring teams, strengthening a culture of forward-thinking, and representing the company’s strategic perspective in key internal and external forums.
Qualifications
Strategic planning and corporate strategy skills, with experience leading long-term visioning and scenario planning. Strong analytical and research capabilities, including market analysis, trend identification, and data-driven decision-making. Leadership and people-management experience, with a track record of guiding cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders. Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, including the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences. Background in innovation, business development, or transformation initiatives, ideally in an international or multi-market environment. Experience working in remote, distributed settings, demonstrating autonomy, accountability, and effective virtual collaboration. Advanced degree in business, economics, strategy, public policy, or a related field, or equivalent experience in senior strategic roles. Exposure to HVAC, infrastructure, industrial, or technology sectors is beneficial but not mandatory.
