Role Description The Vice President of Strategic Foresight is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for shaping Bitsobit’s long-term vision in the cryptocurrency and digital asset ecosystem. This role involves scanning markets and emerging technologies, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, and translating these insights into strategic roadmaps and initiatives. The Vice President will collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align product development, partnerships, and investments with future scenarios and competitive positioning. Daily responsibilities include synthesizing market intelligence, leading scenario-planning and strategic workshops, guiding experimentation and pilot programs, and preparing clear, actionable recommendations for senior decision-makers. This role also oversees the creation of frameworks and tools that help the organization anticipate change and respond proactively.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, futures/foresight analysis, and scenario planning within technology, fintech, or cryptocurrency sectors. Strong skills in market research, competitive intelligence, and data-driven decision-making, including the ability to interpret complex economic and regulatory trends. Proven leadership capabilities, including stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and influencing executive-level decisions in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex insights into clear narratives, strategic recommendations, and presentations for diverse audiences. Background in innovation management, product strategy, or portfolio management, with experience guiding pilot initiatives and evaluating new business models. Deep interest in blockchain, digital currencies, financial technology, and emerging digital ecosystems; prior crypto or exchange platform experience is highly beneficial. Ability to work effectively in a remote, globally distributed team, demonstrating autonomy, accountability, and strong organizational skills. Advanced degree in Business, Economics, Strategy, Futures Studies, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
