Role Description The Vice President of Strategic Investment is a full-time remote role responsible for shaping and executing Martinhal’s long-term investment strategy across its luxury resorts and residences portfolio. This role oversees the evaluation of new development and acquisition opportunities, conducts financial and market analysis, and leads end-to-end investment processes from initial screening through closing. The Vice President collaborates closely with executive leadership, finance, development, and operations teams to align investments with brand positioning and growth objectives. Day-to-day activities include managing due diligence, building financial models, preparing investment proposals and presentations, and maintaining relationships with external partners such as investors, advisors, and financial institutions. The role also involves monitoring portfolio performance, identifying optimization opportunities, and providing strategic guidance on capital allocation and risk management.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Investment Management and Investments, with a proven track record in hospitality, real estate, or related sectors. Robust Finance skills, including financial modeling, valuation, and analysis of complex investment structures. Demonstrated ability to lead comprehensive Due Diligence processes, coordinating legal, financial, and operational workstreams. Experience developing and implementing Investment Strategies aligned with long-term business goals. Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is highly beneficial. Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and decision-making abilities, with strong commercial acumen. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to senior stakeholders. Experience working in international, cross-functional teams and comfort operating in a remote, digitally connected environment. High level of integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to manage confidential information responsibly. Fluency in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
