Role Description The Vice President of Strategic Planning is a part-time, remote role responsible for shaping Medical Market’s long-term direction and growth. This position leads the development and refinement of corporate strategies, aligning business objectives with market opportunities and financial performance. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market and competitive analyses, guiding business planning cycles, evaluating new business opportunities, and collaborating with senior leadership to prioritize strategic initiatives. The role also oversees cross-functional strategic projects, monitors key performance indicators, and prepares strategic reports and presentations for executive and board-level review.
Qualifications
Strong Strategic Planning and Business Planning skills, with experience setting and executing long-term organizational goals. Proven Analytical Skills and Market Research abilities to interpret data, assess trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies. Solid understanding of Finance to evaluate investments, budgets, and the financial impact of strategic decisions. Experience in medical equipment, healthcare, or related industries is highly beneficial. Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management at the executive level. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present strategic recommendations clearly. Advanced degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple initiatives, and make decisions with sound judgment.
