Role Description The Vice President of Strategic Planning is a full-time remote role responsible for defining and driving the company’s long-term business direction. This role oversees the development of strategic plans, including growth initiatives, market positioning, and operational priorities, in close collaboration with executive leadership. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing market and industry data, identifying opportunities and risks, leading strategic projects, and aligning cross-functional teams around key objectives. The Vice President will prepare executive reports and presentations, track performance against strategic goals, and adjust plans based on financial results and market feedback. This role also mentors leaders in strategic thinking and ensures that planning processes support sustainable growth and profitability.
Qualifications
Strong strategic planning and business planning skills, with experience designing and implementing long-term growth initiatives. Advanced analytical skills and market research capabilities to evaluate trends, competitors, and customer behavior. Solid finance knowledge, including budgeting, forecasting, and interpreting financial statements to inform strategy. Proven leadership experience in a senior strategic or planning role, ideally within retail, luxury goods, or related sectors. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred. Experience with data analysis tools, strategic frameworks, and project management methodologies is beneficial.
