The Vice President will work closely with executive leadership to assess market opportunities, evaluate investments, and make recommendations that support sustainable business growth. The ability to connect corporate strategy with financial performance, resource allocation, and operational execution will be essential.
Key Responsibilities
Lead corporate strategic planning and establish long-term business priorities aligned with financial and commercial objectives. Evaluate market trends, competitive developments, and emerging business opportunities to identify potential growth areas. Partner with Finance to assess revenue forecasts, profitability, cash flow implications, and capital requirements for strategic initiatives. Develop financial models and business cases to evaluate investments, market expansion, and new commercial opportunities. Support corporate development activities, including strategic partnerships, potential acquisitions, and business diversification. Work with executive leadership to prioritize investments and allocate resources across major business initiatives. Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Business Development to translate strategic plans into measurable execution. Assess financial and operational risks associated with business expansion, commercial agreements, and organizational changes. Monitor strategic performance indicators and recommend adjustments based on financial results and market conditions. Prepare executive presentations, investment assessments, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership. Qualifications15+ years of progressive experience in corporate strategy, business development, financial planning, consulting, or executive management. At least 7 years of senior leadership experience involving strategic planning, financial performance, or corporate development. Strong knowledge of corporate finance, financial modeling, capital allocation, investment analysis, and profitability management. Demonstrated experience developing growth strategies, evaluating market opportunities, and leading major business initiatives. Experience assessing acquisitions, strategic partnerships, commercial investments, or market expansion opportunities. Ability to interpret financial statements, business forecasts, and operating performance data to support strategic decisions. Proven ability to collaborate with executive leadership and manage complex cross-functional projects. Excellent analytical judgment, executive communication, negotiation, and strategic problem-solving skills. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline required. An MBA or relevant advanced qualification is preferred.
