Vice President Operations

Role Description The Vice President Operations at PLG EDUCATION is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational performance and driving strategic growth across the organization. This role leads cross-functional teams to ensure efficient processes, high-quality customer experiences, and alignment with financial and educational objectives. Daily responsibilities include managing operational workflows, monitoring key performance indicators, optimizing resource allocation, and coordinating major initiatives with senior leadership. The Vice President Operations will collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans, improve service delivery, and ensure projects are executed on time and within budget. This role also involves mentoring managers, establishing best practices, and supporting continuous improvement across all operational areas.

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in Operations Management, including process optimization and cross-functional coordination. Proven experience in P&L Management, budgeting, and financial performance oversight. Strong background in Customer Service operations, with a focus on service quality and stakeholder satisfaction. Hands-on experience with Strategic Planning and organizational development in a growth-oriented environment. Advanced Project Management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management for complex initiatives. Leadership experience in a senior operations role, preferably within education, technology, or services organizations. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, supported by strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to thrive in a remote environment, manage distributed teams, and use digital tools for coordination and reporting. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
