Vice President Operations Development

Role Description The Vice President Operations Development is a full-time remote role responsible for driving operational strategy, performance, and growth across the organization. This role oversees the design and optimization of production workflows, resource planning, and process improvements to ensure efficiency, quality, and scalability. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting operational goals, analyzing performance metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional leaders in finance, sales, and business development to align operations with company objectives. The Vice President Operations Development will lead the development of new operational initiatives, support budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making. This role also involves mentoring operations teams, establishing best practices, and working closely with leadership to support sustainable business growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Operations Management and Business Planning skills to design, improve, and scale processes effectively. Candidates should possess solid Finance skills to support budgeting, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making. Candidates should possess Sales and Business Development skills to align operations with revenue goals and market opportunities. Candidates should possess leadership and people management skills to guide teams, build alignment, and drive performance. Candidates should possess analytical and strategic thinking skills, with proficiency in using data and metrics to optimize operations. Relevant experience in a senior operations or strategy role, preferably in a production, manufacturing, or services environment. Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field; an advanced degree is beneficial.
