Vice President Operations Services

Role Description The Vice President Operations Services is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company’s operational service delivery. This role leads operations teams, sets performance standards, and ensures consistent, high-quality bookkeeping and support services for clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and refining operational processes, monitoring key performance indicators, managing budgets and resource allocation, and collaborating with finance and leadership teams on strategic initiatives. The Vice President Operations Services will develop and execute operational strategies, drive continuous improvement, support technology adoption, and mentor managers to build a scalable and resilient service organization. This position also contributes to long-term planning, risk management, and client satisfaction by aligning operations with business goals.

Qualifications

Strong Operations Management and Team Management skills, with experience leading multi-disciplinary or remote teams. Proven Strategic Planning and organizational leadership capabilities to design and execute long-term operational roadmaps. Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, optimize processes, and make evidence-based decisions. Solid Finance knowledge, including budgeting, cost control, and understanding of bookkeeping or accounting workflows. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and cultures. Demonstrated experience in senior operations or services leadership roles, preferably in financial services or professional services. Proficiency with cloud-based business tools and operations platforms; experience with process automation is an advantage. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications are beneficial.
