Vice President, Quality Assurance (North America)

Role Description The Vice President, Quality Assurance (North America) is a part-time remote role responsible for overseeing and strengthening quality practices across ARK Accounting’s operations in the region. This role includes designing and maintaining quality assurance frameworks, developing standards and procedures, and ensuring they are consistently applied to accounting and advisory services. The Vice President will lead quality audits, review quality control metrics, and collaborate with functional leaders to address gaps, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement. Day-to-day tasks involve assessing compliance with regulatory requirements, reviewing internal documentation and processes, coaching teams on quality best practices, and reporting on quality performance to senior leadership.

Qualifications

Demonstrated skills in Quality Assurance and Quality Management, with experience designing and implementing quality frameworks. Strong capabilities in Quality Control and Quality Auditing to assess, monitor, and improve service delivery. In-depth understanding of relevant Regulatory Requirements and compliance standards affecting accounting and advisory services. Experience in the accounting, finance, or professional services sector, preferably in a senior quality or operational leadership role. Proven ability to analyze complex processes, identify risks, and implement practical improvements across distributed teams. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence change without direct authority. Comfort working in a remote, part-time capacity with strong self-management, organization, and digital collaboration skills. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, quality management, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CQE, CQA) is an asset.
