Vice President Service Operations

Role Description The Vice President Service Operations is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing the delivery and performance of cybersecurity services to clients. This role leads service operations teams, sets operational standards, and ensures high-quality, timely support that aligns with security best practices and customer expectations. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing service performance metrics, optimizing workflows, coordinating incident response processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the operations function. The Vice President will collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders on strategic planning, resource allocation, and budget management to support organizational goals. This role also involves mentoring managers, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring that service operations remain scalable, efficient, and compliant with relevant regulations.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret service performance data, identify trends, and drive data-informed operational decisions. Candidates should possess Customer Satisfaction and service excellence skills to design and maintain client-focused processes and relationships. Candidates should possess Team Leadership capabilities to guide, mentor, and develop service operations managers and multidisciplinary teams. Candidates should possess Budgeting and Strategic Planning skills to manage operational costs, forecast resource needs, and align service operations with long-term business objectives. Relevant experience in cybersecurity, IT services, or technology operations leadership, ideally in a senior or executive capacity. Proven track record in remote team management, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to operate in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; advanced degree or industry certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, CISM) are beneficial.
