Virtual Math Instructor – Wed/Fri/Sun Availability Needed, Part-Time

Job Description:
- Teach enthusiastic elementary, middle, and high school students in online classrooms
- Use AoPS curriculum to teach participation-oriented classes focused on instruction and skill development rather than rote memorization
- Work with small classes averaging 12 students
- Foster critical thinking and problem solving
- Motivate gifted and high-achieving learners in a live virtual classroom environment
Requirements:
- Availability for Wednesday and Friday at 7 pm ET and Sunday at 12:45 pm ET
- Solid academic background in mathematics
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field required
- Experience using Zoom or similar video conferencing software
- Comfortable managing a classroom in a virtual setting
- Some experience teaching or tutoring students at the K-12 level
- Located in and authorized to work in the United States
- No sponsorship available, including STEM-OPT and H-1B
- Master's degree or higher in a STEM field preferred
- Some experience working with advanced students preferred
