Virtual Social Worker in MA
A contract opportunity is available for a Social Worker specializing in telehealth services within an educational setting located in Pittsfield, MA. This role focuses on providing remote behavioral health support and counseling to students, ensuring accessibility and continuity of care through virtual platforms. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting telehealth sessions to support students social, emotional, and mental health needs
- Collaborating with school staff to develop individualized intervention plans
- Assessing student needs and providing crisis intervention remotely as necessary
- Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Facilitating communication between students, families, and school personnel to support student well-being
- Participating in virtual meetings and trainings related to student mental health services
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a clinical social worker
- Proven experience providing direct social work services via telehealth platforms
