This role focuses on guidance, advocacy, and connection to affirming resources, while also helping the organization remain grounded in the needs of the community we serve.This is a meaningful opportunity for someone with a social work, advocacy, or community organizing background who wants to make a direct impact through nonprofit work.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a welcoming and affirming point of contact for LGBTQparticipantsHelp individuals and families navigate social services, community resources, and support systemsProvide culturally competent guidance and advocacyAssist with developing resource lists, referral pathways, and outreach materialsOffer feedback to staff on program inclusivity and community needsSupport community engagement efforts aligned with the foundation's missionQualificationsStrong commitment to supporting LGBTQindividuals and familiesFamiliarity with community resources, social services, or nonprofit environmentsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to handle sensitive topics with empathy and discretionBackground in social work, counseling, advocacy, or lived experience is a plusBenefitsHands-on nonprofit and community advocacy experienceOpportunity to contribute to inclusive, mission-driven workFlexible remote scheduleProfessional development and mentorship opportunities
