VP of Business Development
Role Description The VP of Business Development is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading growth initiatives and expanding MUSE DIGITAL’s client portfolio. This role oversees the end-to-end new business lifecycle, including prospecting, qualifying leads, developing proposals, and closing deals with lifestyle brands and related partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and managing a pipeline of opportunities, crafting business plans for target sectors, and collaborating with internal strategists and creatives to design compelling service offerings. The VP will lead contract negotiations, maintain strong relationships with key accounts, and ensure client expectations are clearly defined and met. This position also involves monitoring market trends, refining go-to-market strategies, and providing regular performance reporting to company leadership.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in New Business Development and Sales, including managing a pipeline and consistently meeting growth targets. Proficiency in Business Planning, with the ability to develop strategic plans, revenue forecasts, and market entry strategies. Strong skills in Contract Negotiation, including structuring agreements, pricing services, and aligning terms with business objectives. Experience in Account Management, with a track record of nurturing long-term client relationships and driving account growth. Background in digital marketing, agency, or professional services environments, preferably with lifestyle or consumer brands. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels. Comfort working in a remote, fast-paced, collaborative setting, with strong self-management and organizational skills. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience is a plus. Experience building or leading business development teams and contributing to overall company strategy is highly beneficial.
