Role Description The VP of Business Execution Management is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for driving cross-functional execution on key strategic initiatives. This role oversees the planning, tracking, and optimization of business programs across finance, sales, product, and operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives and clear accountability. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining execution frameworks, setting measurable goals and KPIs, leading project reviews, and removing obstacles that slow delivery. The VP will collaborate with senior leadership to translate strategy into actionable plans, manage project portfolios, and ensure resources are allocated effectively. This position also involves mentoring team members, refining business processes, and building a culture of disciplined execution and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and inform strategic decisions. Finance and business analysis experience, including budgeting, forecasting, performance measurement, and ROI evaluation. Project management expertise in planning, prioritizing, and executing cross-functional initiatives from concept to completion. Sales and go-to-market understanding, with experience partnering closely with revenue teams to drive operational effectiveness. Proven leadership experience in a senior or executive role, preferably in a high-growth or startup environment. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Track record of building processes, frameworks, and dashboards that improve visibility, accountability, and outcomes. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is beneficial.
