VP of Logistics

Role Description The VP of Logistics is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing Volsmart’s end-to-end logistics and operations processes. This role oversees transportation, warehousing, and distribution strategies to ensure timely, cost-effective, and secure movement of goods and related documentation across markets. The VP of Logistics will develop and monitor logistics performance metrics, manage budgets and P&L for logistics operations, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to align logistics capabilities with business and customer needs. Daily responsibilities include leading logistics teams, improving operational workflows, negotiating with carriers and vendors, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting scalable logistics solutions for Volsmart’s tokenized asset ecosystem. This role also participates in strategic planning, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives to support global growth.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Logistics Management and Transportation Management, with a proven ability to design and oversee complex, multi-country logistics networks. Demonstrated experience in Operations Management, including process optimization, performance measurement, and cross-functional coordination. Hands-on background in Warehouse Operations, inventory control, and distribution management in fast-paced environments. Solid P&L Management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis for logistics and operations functions. Experience leading and developing diverse, geographically distributed teams, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively in a remote, digital-first organization, using data and technology to drive decisions and improvements. Background in fintech, blockchain, supply chain, or asset-heavy industries is highly beneficial. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPL, PMP) are a plus.
