Role Description The VP of Portfolio Value Creation is a full-time remote role responsible for driving strategic and financial performance across the firm’s portfolio companies. This role leads value-creation initiatives, including growth strategy development, operational improvement programs, and financial optimization in partnership with portfolio leadership teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing portfolio performance, identifying and prioritizing value levers, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and preparing insights and recommendations for internal investment committees. The VP collaborates with deal teams on transaction due diligence, contributes to post-close integration plans, and monitors progress against value-creation roadmaps. The role also involves building relationships with portfolio executives, guiding best practices, and ensuring disciplined execution of key initiatives to achieve targeted returns.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Finance and Financial Services, with experience in private equity, investment banking, or corporate development. Demonstrated expertise in Financial Planning and Investments, including portfolio monitoring, capital allocation, and performance measurement. Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, model scenarios, and translate findings into actionable strategies. Proven track record of leading value-creation initiatives, operational improvements, or strategic growth programs across multiple businesses. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and collaborate across functions. Comfort operating in a remote environment, managing priorities across multiple portfolio companies and time zones. Graduate degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field is preferred; relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, MBA) are a plus. High level of integrity, resilience, and adaptability, with a results-oriented mindset and strong ownership of outcomes.
