VP of Programs & Leadership Development

Role Description The VP of Programs & Leadership Development is a full-time, remote role responsible for designing, leading, and scaling ConvergeHER’s programs and leadership development initiatives. This role oversees the full lifecycle of programs, from concept development and planning to implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement. Day-to-day, the VP will manage program strategy, coordinate cross-functional project teams, and ensure offerings align with ConvergeHER’s mission and community needs. The role includes setting and tracking program goals, managing budgets and timelines, analyzing program performance data, and reporting outcomes to executive leadership and key stakeholders. The VP will collaborate closely with community leaders, partners, and facilitators to build impactful curricula, thought leadership content, and experiences that foster inclusive leadership and measurable impact.

Qualifications

Program Management and Project Management skills to design, execute, and scale complex leadership and community programs. Strategic Planning and Analytical Skills to set program vision, use data to inform decisions, and evaluate outcomes against goals. Budgeting experience to manage program finances, allocate resources effectively, and ensure fiscal responsibility. Demonstrated leadership in building or managing leadership development, community, or social innovation initiatives. Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills to engage diverse stakeholders and partners. Experience working in remote, distributed teams, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently. Background in leadership development, nonprofit, social impact, or related fields; experience at the intersections of economics, STEM, or social innovation is beneficial. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Public Policy, Education, Organizational Development); advanced degree is a plus.
