We’re hiring: Interim Procurement Counsel, Vendor Contracts (Remote, US or UK) CounselNow is looking for a mid-level commercial lawyer to support a global client on an interim basis. The role Lead a high-volume vendor uplift project, updating vendor agreements to current standards for cybersecurity, operational resilience and AI governance Support ordinary-course procurement by negotiating general contract terms, especially where a vendor in the uplift pipeline is coming up for renewal Handle vendor pushback and propose creative alternatives that secure key legal protections while keeping negotiations on track Track the negotiation pipeline, give regular status updates and know when to escalate complex issues What we’re looking for 3–5 years’ commercial legal experience drafting and negotiating agreements with vendors, from global technology companies to smaller providers Proven experience negotiating cybersecurity, data protection and AI clauses in vendor agreements A strong negotiator who can handle vendor pushback An organised project manager who can run a high-volume negotiation pipeline Details Location: US or UK only, remote Initial 3-month engagement, with the option to extend Start: immediate Interested?
